2012 Green Mountain Head Regatta

The 2012 Green Mountain Head Regatta will be held (weather permitting)
on Sunday, September 30 2012.

| Location: | Dummerston Boat Landing, Putney, VT. Connecticut River. Click Here for Directions. |

| Course: | A "stake race" of 3 miles. Race 1.5 miles upstream, row around two large orange buoys and then return 1.5 miles to the finish. |
| Eligibility: | Open to All Rowers, Hotshots and Novices, in racing singles or doubles (no recreational event) |
| Method of Start: | Running start, one boat every 15 seconds. |
| Launching: | Boat launching facilities are limited. Please allow time to ensure your arrival at the starting line on time. |
| Awards and Lunch: | Maple syrup for first place, bags of apples for second, cider for third, for each category.
There will be a 12:00 PM Lunch at the Launch Site. Cider, egg rolls, cheese, bread, and doughnuts. Awards and results presented. |
Rules
| • | No Dogs, please. |
| • | No Rowing Out of Class any more. |
| • | A Double Shell may only be Raced Once |
| • | No "Hot Seating". |
| • | No Substitutions. |
| • | All Scratches are Final. |
| • | No Swapping of Entries. |
| • | All Boats Must have Bow Balls. |
| • | Do not cross race course or row through finish/start when warming up. |
| • | The Regatta has grown significantly in recent years, and these rules must be taken seriously. Thanks. |
